Considered by the winemakers themselves to be Pacina's most important wine. Predominantly Sangiovese, with 5% Canaiolo and Ciliegiolo, seeing close to two years in old oak and another two years of bottle aging before release. Approachable, yet with the slightly feral brett characteristics we've come to associate with Pacina.
While Colleoni is famous for his Brunello, he has identified top terroir in other parts of Montalcino, from which this wine is made. The Selvarella is a prime example of Sangiovese, deep and luscious, with fresh acidity and a long finish.
