De Montal's 1982 vintage! Rod Stewart temporarily loses his $50,000 Porsche to a mugger in Los Angeles. Did he drink de Montal to cope? We don't know. Could be, though. Could be...

De Montal's Hors D'Age (literally "out of age", with a minimum 12-years-aged in the blend) is smooth, bronze-gold goodness.

The VSOP from the cooperative Compagnie des Produits de Gascogne, who produce Montal for the export market.  VSOP demands the brandy ages at least four years; Montal's version contains brandies up to twenty.
