Texier's home vineyard on limestone produces excellent Syrah with pepper and cherry aromas. A wine that was almost forgotten to history.

Texier makes this wine, from a vineyard on granite across the Rhone river, in the same method as his Brézème cuvee: whole cluster fermentation, age in concrete tanks, and a light extraction from the skins.

The vines average 40 years, on clayey-calcareous and silty soil, in a unique position between the Cornas and the Saint-Joseph AOCs. The wine ages 13 months in concrete. An easy and fruitier introduction to Northern Rhone Syrah!
