Antoine Sunier is working with some of the best single vineyard sites in Beaujolais. This is the perfect wine to match dark poultry meat. Also available in party size!
NOTE: The current vintage is 2023, not 2018 as pictured.
Dry Bordeaux Red blend with big tannin that will soften with age or decanting. Dark black fruit, cedar, and spice make this a great pairing with roasted meat.
Made of fruit from younger vines (but some as old as 40 years) by a vigneron who gives all his focus to only 5 wines, this is a solid crisp red fruit wine with smooth tannin and a hint of cedar.
Negrette is Fronton's specialty varietal, and AOP regulations stipulate it must make up at least 50% of a grower's holdings. Eric Asimov calls this well-priced bottle "...ripe, succulent, exotically fruity, delicious, easy drinking." Fun label, too.
Elegant blend of 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Franc, from Côtes de Bourg, on the right bank. Biodynamically farmed, naturally fermented, unfined.
Pulling together ripe fruit from three parts of the Rhône, this is a well-balanced, full-bodied GSM, with big fruit notes, hefty tannin, and just a tinge of Syrah's savoriness.
This one sees a touch of oak, but for the most part it's the fruit that's the star. A subdued amount of that earthy quality, underlying scrumptious cherry and red fruit notes.
