Arnot-Roberts North Coast Trousseau

The North Coast Appellation Trousseau is sourced from the three vineyards; Luchsinger, Bohan Ranch and Bartolomei. The soil and weather in these sites are distinct from each other and as a result yield fruit with singular personalities. Harvested and fermented from the sites on their own, without destemming and the resulting wines are aged separately in a mix of neutral French oak barrels and stainless steel. Blending takes place in the early spring and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration in early May. Trousseau is the thinnest skinned grape Arnot-Roberts work with and they appreciate this unique variety for its ability to make a wine that is light in color but packed with flavor. Trousseau is an extremely versatile wine that will pair well with a wide variety of foods and occasions.
