From Cabernet Franc grown organically in clay, raised in old oak and cement. The 2018 shows hints of just-snapped pencil lead and damp flowers under a layer of earthy brett. The palate is fresh, with very fine, friendly tannins that allow the black cherry-like fruit to speak. Superb.

Single-vineyard Muscadet from vines 50-110 years old! An excellent balance of citrus, anise, and almond notes with decades of life ahead of it.

En Lya is a vibrant citrus expression, featuring zingy Meyer lemon notes and delicate undertones of stone fruits. A very rich  Chardonnay.

A 50/50 blend of Jura's main white grapes, this one is a complex white that hints at the sherry-like flavor Jura's famous vin jaune is known for. Minerality and fruit, with plenty of texture and acidity. Excellent cheese wine.

Concentrated flavours of apples and pears, complemented by toasty baking spices. There is a lovely acidity that elegantly frames the palate.

Cherry, raspberry, and earthy notes are evident on the nose. On the palate, juicy red fruits and oak are combined with silky tannins.

Moriers' Beaujolais Villages, grown between Morgon and Moulin-À-Vent, provides Cru-level Gamay wines at a lower price. Forty-year-old vines.

A Morgon that gives Lapierre a run for its money. Splendid. 

Approximate drinking window:  2024 - 2039+.

A concentrated, structured wine from the most age-worthy of Beaujolais Crus (and 2020 is an age-worthy vintage, to boot). Small production. 

An intense nose of red fruit, with a light, velvety palate. Great now or in the next 6 years.
