With fruit grown directly adjacent to the wildness of the Alta Langhe, this wine has a hearty, robust body full of red fruit and spice that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

Papegaai is a co-fermented blend of all the grapes on Badenhorst's Kalmoesfontein, including Cinsault, Chenin Blanc, Palomino, and Syrah, sourced from 23 distinct vineyards. Light and easy-drinking, with raspberry fruit flavours and herbaceousness in the finish.

This is a crisp, fresh, silky wine, underscored by very fine tannins. Cellaring potential of over ten years, rare for a bottle at this price.
